We are hiring!

Annually, the Spark Change Project team hires a new cohort of high school-age Black and Brown girls to serve in their first professional roles as Peer Facilitators. The Peer Facilitators develop a platform and agenda to testify to local policymakers about issues impacting their communities. Spark Change Project policy priorities have included girls’ mental health, safe and supportive school environments, equity issues, healthy relationships, and others.

Girls share their lived experiences and knowledge to facilitate discussions at Town Hall events, Spark Change Day, and Spark Change Camp, as well as through written and spoken testimony given at the Texas Legislature.
