Experience: Adreayn worked at a title one school in Pflugerville ISD for four years, in after school programs as well in Physical Education classes while pursuing her bachelor's degree. She also worked summer camps in Loveland Colorado, traveling to different communities in need. She then completed a term of service with AmeriCorps in Colorado through a nonprofit, Colorado Youth for a Change. Adreayn worked with high schoolers mentoring and helping facilitate their Wellness Center- a drop-in space for students to self-regulate while at school. Adreayn supported the student-organized Wellness Club. She volunteered at a nonprofit the Matthews House, assisting young people who have aged out of the foster care system connect with resources and navigate new responsibilities. She also volunteered at local food banks.
Adreayn is passionate about engaging with young people, the U.S. food system, and mental health education.
